This papaya and ginger frappé is very refreshing. Whenever you are in the green grocers if you come across a nice ripped papaya, do not hesitate to buy it and try it. Ginger is very anti-inflammatory and combined with papaya makes a delicious and thirst-quenching health drink.


Serves 4 –

  • 4 cups of papaya (peeled and cubed)
  • 4 cups ice cubes
  • 4 tblspn honey
  • ginger (about the size of 2 cloves of garlic, peeled)
  • 1/2 cup water

Method –

  • Put all ingredients into a blender or any other food processor. Whizz until nice and frothy and serve decorated with a sprig of mint. It could not be easier.

Tips –

  • Papaya is such a versatile fruit. Try it with cardamom or mint!
